BRIEF
Seagram's Gin had spent three years building its positioning around 'live like no one knows you,' empowering people to leave their fears behind and start living freely, using the attitude of the world's freest place: New York City. Now, the brand wanted a new direction that still kept freedom at its core but represented an evolution from the previous message—something more about attitude.

A NEW BRAND TERRITORY
This is how JUST BECAUSE was born. A new brand territory that empowers viewers to live freely and without explaining themselves to anyone.

IDEA
We used real stories that can be seen daily in New York City and applied the 'JUST BECAUSE' philosophy throughout the film. A series of 'just because' situations, paired with 'just because' music, and narrated by a character... 'just because.'
